The Mansfield Downtown Partnership thanks all of the participants, sponsors, and volunteers for their time and efforts in preparing for our 23rd Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival.

We hoped to move forward with our rain plan of holding the event indoors at E. O. Smith High School and began setting up early Saturday morning with the help of our volunteer committee, staff from the Town of Mansfield Departments of Public Works and Facilities Management, and E. O. Smith High School staff.

In the midst of setting up, the school lost power. After initially waiting to see if power would return, we were forced to cancel the event for the safety of all participants and visitors.

Partnership staff notified participants, performers, and the public as quickly as possible despite not having power, phones, or internet in our office.

We share with everyone the disappointment in not holding the event and appreciate your understanding that the decision to cancel was not made lightly and was done so for the safety of all. This was an unprecedented confluence of challenges that we will hopefully not face again.

We look forward to seeing everyone (outside and dry!) at our 24th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival in 2027!
